The California Librarians Black Caucus (CLBC) is an advocate for California’s Black African American library community, strengthening libraries and the people they employ through:

• influence and expertise

• future leader development

• professional growth, and

• ongoing educational opportunities.

It's not just library organizations that benefit from the work of the California Librarians Black Caucus (CLBC), but their employees, volunteers and the citizens of California.

CLBC provides scholarships to support students in library school programs and for members to receive continuing education through programs, conference attendance and other professional development opportunities. 

Your support and contributions will underwrite CLBC Programs and Scholarships. Donations may be dedicated in honor, or in memory, of individuals.  Donations are generally accepted from individuals, corporations, foundations, government agencies, or other entities, without limitations unless acceptance of gifts from a specific source is inconsistent with the mission of the California Librarians Black Caucus (CLBC).

Three ways to donate to CLBC are: 

First, you can join CLBC and indicate on your Membership Application, the amount you wish to donate. The form can be submitted by email or postal mail to the address below.  

If you only want to make a donation, click this link to the CLBC Donations Form, complete the form, and submit by email or postal mail to the address below.  

Or you can complete and print either the Membership Application or Donation Form and mail with a check or money order made payable to CLBC.  Mail the forms and payment to the address below:
