We are looking for volunteers to support our 2026/2027 committees!
Committees are organized to address issues that affect the California Librarians Black Caucus (CLBC), our members, and the black library community at large. Committee member composition seeks to balance representation by type of library, experience relevant to committee's charge, new and veteran CLBC members, and gender. Typically, the current CLBC President and CLBC Executive Board appoints members to committees based on member interest expressed on the member application form.
Browse all CLBC Committees to learn more about them, indicate which committee (s) you would like to help develop and or advance initiatives aligned with the CLBC Strategic Plan and the greater library information science profession. If you are interested in volunteering, we ask that you serve on the committee for one calendar year.
