Our monthly meetings provide a unique opportunity to share ideas and set plans for the organization. A monthly "brown bag" lunch meeting is also available for unique and focused discussions on the variety of issues affecting librarianship, including new technologies, censorship, holiday planning, etc..
Our Committees also provide opportunties to network and to gain experience about professional organizations.
We also conduct special engagements with authors, bookstores, local organizations and universities for Black History Month and Juneteenth.
